This afternoon's meeting was dedicated to building props for the play. March will be here very soon and we still have a lot of work to do to ensure that the play will be ready.
Yesterday, Fine Arts Club members began working on a long term project by learning how to make zentangles. These are going to be used to make sculptures later in the year and for other projects. Each club member needs to have approximately 30 finished zentangles in order to complete our projects. Here is a sneak peek at some of the works-in-progress.
Our schedule for the month of February is a little different from other months during this school year. Although most months, Fine Arts Club has met on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month, during February we will be meeting during the 1st and 4th Thursdays of the month. That means that we are meeting this Thursday. I'll see you then!
Many Fine Arts Club members are in the cast for the spring play. We have been very busy during our rehearsals! The February rehearsal schedule is posted in the hallway. In addition, it is posted below. Keep an eye on this website for ways that you can help as we get closer to the performance dates. |
